PROJECT ENGINEER

Summary of Job Responsibilities (Content and Main Objectives of the Job):

a) Developing plans and coordinating with specialized departments to implement projects;

b) Preparing and controlling project schedules and documents;

c) Controlling and coordinating design, procurement & supply, construction (EPC) activities with customers, departments, suppliers, and subcontractors;

d) Controlling EPC contract progress and preparing progress reports;

e) Reporting work results according to the company's regulations and rules.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Receive a competitive salary based on individual capabilities (to be agreed upon).

b) Receive full benefits including health insurance, social insurance, etc. according to the Labor Law and regulations of the State.

c) Participate in training courses both domestically and internationally sponsored by the company; use specialized licensed software provided by the company.

d) Propose support and guidance from the design leader/design controller and/or head of department when facing major difficulties or issues beyond the decision-making authority.

e) Propose opinions on the construction of departments, centers, and the company.

 

The job objectives are

a) Efficiently perform the workload, quality, and progress of work in accordance with the plan and work processes.

b) Detect and handle issues and errors arising from work in a timely manner.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

a) Education: Bachelor's degree or higher;

b) Specialization: Specialized in the fields of chemical engineering, construction, electrical, water or related technical fields;

c) Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience or more;

d) Computer skills: Proficient in using AutoCAD design software, project management software, or similar software;

e) Language proficiency: Minimum of B-level English or equivalent, able to read and translate technical documents in English, communication skills in English are encouraged.

f) Skills:

  • - Project management and supervision skills;
  • - Good communication skills.
  • - Good time management and personal planning skills.
  • - Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • - Understand and apply professional technical standards and regulations, as well as quality management system requirements applied in the Company's design work.

g) Ability:

  • - Good coordination with colleagues;
  • - Work independently, under high pressure in work;
  • - Establish, maintain, and develop relationships.

h) Style, attitude, behavior:

  • - Neat and polite attire suitable for office culture.
  • - Gentle and democratic behavior in discussions;
  • - Have a cooperative, honest, and serious spirit in work.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

a) Regularly work at the project construction site or the Project Management Office;

b) Travel on business as required by the Company's leadership or assigned by the Head of Department / Director of the Center;

c) Equipped with full tools for work: desk, chair, computer, office supplies, and other equipment suitable for job requirements.
