Q1/2025: Comprehensive Care, Inspiring Emulation
The conference listened to Comrade Ho Thi Mai Huong, Vice President of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, presenting the review report of Q1/2025 activities and concluding female workers' affairs in 2024. In Q1/2025, the Trade Union proactively deployed numerous practical initiatives focused on caring for the material and spiritual well-being of workers while boosting patriotic emulation movements.
A highlight in Q1 was the Trade Union's close coordination with the Group's leadership in issuing directives for the 2025 Employees' Conferences, ensuring workplace democracy. Many units successfully held these conferences, creating effective dialogue channels between employees and enterprise management.
Caring for employees during the Lunar New Year (Tet) was given high priority. The average Tet bonus across the industry exceeded 20 million VND per employee, with several units achieving bonuses surpassing 30 million VND per employee, demonstrating profound care from the Group and Trade Union leaders. Furthermore, the Trade Union and the Group's Social Welfare Fund promptly provided nearly 1.3 billion VND in assistance to underprivileged workers, nearly 200 million VND to victims of occupational accidents, and over 114 million VND to disabled children of employees. Total social welfare expenditures during the quarter reached an impressive 2.17 billion VND.
The patriotic emulation movement continued to spread widely. The Trade Union and Group Leadership issued the 2025 Emulation Directive, targeting core tasks to help achieve production and business targets. Acknowledging outstanding performance, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour awarded Emulation Flags to 05 collectives, alongside hundreds of collectives and individuals commended by various trade union levels and the Group.
Social charitable and cultural-sports activities were also actively carried out by units with a total budget of nearly 6 billion VND. The tradition of caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers was dutifully maintained, embodying the noble principle "When drinking water, remember its source". Many member units organized sports tournaments and cultural clubs, providing wholesome recreational environments and enriching employees' cultural lives.
Occupational safety and health were rigorously maintained, with zero major industrial accidents or fire hazards recorded. In celebration of International Women's Day (March 8), meaningful activities honored and supported female workers. The emulation movement "Good at state affairs, capable of house work" commended 78 outstanding individuals and collectives, affirming the vital role of women in the industry's sustainable development.

Notably, the initiative supporting "Ao Dai - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" saw Lam Thao Fertilizers and Chemicals Joint Stock Company gifting Ao Dai to 100% of female employees for three consecutive years, honoring traditional cultural elegance.
In 2024, female personnel registered many high-value technical and operational initiatives, such as the solution "Capital mobilization to reduce financial expenses" by Ms. Le Thi Minh Hoa (Viet Tri Chemical JSC) yielding nearly 2 billion VND in benefit, Ms. Nguyen Kim Dung's initiative (South Basic Chemicals JSC) restoring production efficiency with over 2 billion VND in savings, and notably Ms. Tran Thi Hao's initiative (Ninh Binh Phosphate Fertilizer Company) yielding nearly 20 billion VND in financial benefit.
