Profile Company

Chemical Industry Engineering Joint Stock Company (CECO) was established in 1967 as a member of the Vietnam National Chemical Group. With over 55 years of experience in providing investment consulting services (including legal consulting in accordance with Vietnamese regulations), Environmental Impact Assessment, Engineering Design, EPC general contractor, EPCm, PMC, in many industrial sectors: chemicals, industrial gases, fertilizers, petroleum, energy & utilities, environment & waste treatment, life science, pharmaceuticals, mining & mineral processing, renewable energy, rubber, and other products.

CECO focuses on conducting scientific and technical research at all levels, from grassroots to the Chemical Group, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the State, as well as in the Green Chemistry projects of UNDP. This is to achieve the goal of providing technical solutions to optimize production technology, localize equipment, and handle waste to protect the environment.

SCIENCE COUNCIL

Functions and duties:

The Scientific Council of CECO is an advisory organization that helps the Company's leadership in organizing scientific research activities and evaluating scientific research results within the company. The Council is responsible for discussing and proposing to the Company's leadership:

1. Drafting the long-term (3-5 years) and annual scientific research plan of the Company, including research cooperation with domestic and foreign research organizations;

2. Advising and commenting on participating in and researching scientific topics at all levels;

3. Examining and advising on approving research outlines for programs and research topics at all levels;

4. Evaluating the scientific quality of the Company's projects, proposals, and research topics;

5. Recommending awards for outstanding scientific works within the Company's scope of authority;

6. Other tasks as required by the Company's leadership.
